RESPONSIBLE CARE IN HANDLING CHEMICAL SHIPMENTS
SPIK stands for the filipino name of the “Chemical Industries Association” of the Philippines, and defines Responsible Care codes for Management Practices of the Chemical Industry. 
Doris  Torres, former SPIK Vice-President and still member of the Responsible Care Council,  where she is a a co-steward of RC Code on “Distribution” elaborated in a knowledge sharing session this week that commitment to sustainability demands  implementation of responsible care Code  in distribution. She explained that Distribution Code is the most complex and dynamic code in Responsible Care as it is linked to other various other RC Codes.  Distribution Code covers Management practices in transport, handling and storage of chemical shipments.
