150 Freight Forwarders in friendly encounter

It is unusual that Freight Forwarders gather together for exchange of thoughts and discussions on sharing skills and each companies speciality. So happened on 10th June 2025 at Lanson Place. Hosted by the PMTLA (Philippine Multimodal Transport & Logistics Association) who hosted the AFFA (ASEAN Freight Forwarders Association) board and council mid year strategic planing meeting.

The event was graced by DTI Undersecretary Mary Jean Pacheco who in her speech acknowledged the importance of dialogue between private sector and government on legislation and policies. Indeed an important point to keep Trade and Industry viable and competitive. AFFA Vice Chair Doris Torres, President and General Manager STAMM International presented her with a plaque of appreciation for such cooperation.

The foreign visitors, delegates from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Lao PDR were treated to a small cultural show and of course the popular Tinikling dance could not be missing. Jovie the singer impressed with his fabulous voice while the Freight Forwarders feasted on a sumptuous buffet.
